Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

It's incredible... we see/read this stuff, maybe make a quick comment, then it quickly gets blown off (pun intended)... The bar has been lowered that much.

If any other President in history said something like this, just once, there'd be a clamour in Congress for him to immediately undergo independent psychiatric analysis to ensure he still had all his faculties.

It's like we've all just accepted that it's fine for the President to be in serious cognitive decline because 30-40% of the electorate like him.

Vile, just vile.

Wow... Imagine what type of person you must be in order to make up such a vile and disgusting lie about someone... Without even flinching.

ESPECIALLY someone who is probably heartbroken and in the process of mourning the death of their child, just for you own gain so that you can further the fallacy that all immigrants are evil.

... Trump is deliberately trying to increase the number of illegal immigrants as he feels it is a good campaign issue for him.

And I don't suppose it'll be long before he tweets his fanbase that he's going to use the foreign aid money to fund his vanity wall, thus fulfilling his promise to make Mexico, which now includes Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, pay for it.

Hypernormalisation

This is probably not far off - the "cut off the aid" thing plays really well with his base, shows we're being "tough" - of course it's folly for a couple of reasons:
(1) it's only $500 million, frankly not that much,
(2) the funds are used to help maintain civil societies in those countries, allowing citizens to feel safer in their own countries, providing less of a reason for some to feel they need to emigrate to the US (legally or illegally),
(3) "closing the border" will probably cost the US economy more than the aid money we're not spending as goods can't be imported and sold in the US, which create revenue for business owners and wages for their employees.

But, oh well, he's the smart guy who went to Wharton business school.....

Knows a lot about wind, too.
