Since this report was SUCH good news for Trump, you'd think he really ought to order the release of the entire report to the public ASAP.

Barr is just protecting him, same way as he did Bush. This is supported by the fact that Barr and Rosenstein concluded on obstruction, while the special counsel elected not to.
