Mueller started his investigation on Russian interference with the 2016 election and ended CONSIDERABLY earlier even tho there are blatant instances of GOP members being paid off or compromised by Russia. Hell, A SCOTUS member retired after a meeting with Trump. Yeah, COMPLETELY coincidental!

Or that Trump's son met with Russians to try to get dirt about Clinton and repeatedly lied about both the meeting and purpose.

I guess the ironic thing would be if this ended up in a similar fashion to the Clinton email server - not enough to formally charge but with each side thinking it still enough to "lock them up"

You should read the entire twitter thread linked above by @BirkenheadBlue. Seth Abramson has done a great, great job covering the last couple of years in US Politics from a legal stand-point.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats start throwing mud at Mueller and the investigation and what documents are to be handed over.

All in all, Mueller seems to have done a thorough and successful investigation. Whether Trump himself isn't prosecuted as a result of the report etc shouldn't determine the success or validity of the report.
