Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

Good gosh that's the single most desperate attempt to criticise him I've ever, ever seen. And that's really something. To think that person actually took time to research and find something, anything within his tweet he could put a racist edge on.

Aren’t there better things the President of the United States can be doing with his weekend than being a tv media critic? At least if he golfs he gets a tad bit of exercise.

Fox is close enough to state tv as it is without Trump trying to use the bully pulpit to pressure them into making presenter changes.

In his defence, when else is he going to do it?

All that weekday cable news won’t watch itself.

“Be strong and prosper” isn’t a particularly common phrase for anyone so I can understand someone looking at possible origins. Which do you think more likely - that Steven Miller picked it up from his alt right friends or that Trump is really a closet Trekkie and adapted the “live long and prosper” catchphrase instead?!

I 100% think Trump had no other thoughts in his mind other than wanting to write "Be strong and prosper". I get people don't like him -- heck, even I am very aware of his many bad and unlikeable traits -- and they'll try anything to paint him in a bad light, but it just came across as desperate to me.

I have no problem whatsoever with people calling him out and quoting him when they have proof of his ulterior motives or purposeful malice.

If you type that into google as a direct quote it comes up with several pages from right wing sources.

Any decent journalist would have known or found this easy. Heck anyone who can type into google properly would have.

Go ahead give it a try. You will find many types of sites linking alt right racist views including published papers.

It's not a common phrase but any group or persons who study or know about the racist element would have known this and its links.

Mad the stuff you choose to defend.

Just an opinion, we're all entitled to them mate.

I expect he'll be impeached any time soon anyway. At least, he should be if he's guilty of all these horrific crimes. Just a bit weird he's been in the job two years.

I know he's no saint, by the way.

What an odd response?

Where did i question your "opinion"?

I merely pointed out that not a lot of research would have been needed on this one.

You can make your opinion all you want. Funny how that seems to be a go to for you to try get sympathy for having the opposite to most of those here.

Always trying to be a victim off not being heard.

and again odd thing to try defend then to go on and say the second and third lines in your reply.

Today Trump has retweeted, twice, Jack Posobiec (who is known for spreading the “Pizzagate” lie and finding ways to tweet the white supremacist code “1488”) and also today retweeted a Qanon account - I personally don’t think it going out on a limb to wonder where POTUS is getting some of his vocabulary or ideas from.

Alright. No, no victim at all. I don't want any sympathy whatsoever. For what? What do the views of some lids on an Internet forum mean to me? Absolutely nothing at all.

Although plenty of posters here take time and effort to tell people how wrong they are, I'll never ever criticise somebody for their views or opinions. Go ahead and check my posting history.

Anyway, have a good evening Sir.

I absolutely agree he has many questionable views. You'd have to be mad to think otherwise.

I just feel on this occasion he might, just might, be innocent of what he was accused of.

That's all. ;)

I'm probably wrong, mind you.

Washington State passed a bill to remove Trump from the ballot in 2020 unless he releases his tax returns.

Personally I think it might be a bit of a reach. Doesn't matter in Washington anyway...very blue state.
Don't think he'll be arsed by that, as you say no Republican is winning that anyway.

That said, if other states get on board he could be in a slightly sticky situation.

Let's see if anything comes of this.

And I’d find it a lot easier to dsmiss it as an accidental choice of words if Trump hadn’t that history of “questionable” views and hadn’t already spent today retweeting white nationalists.

;) He'll be but a bad memory... in six years.
