Cohen stated he hadn't been to the Czech Republic. Do you believe that ? Part of the Steele Dossier relies on Cohen having done so.

The GOP were taking the presidents stance today that he was a nothing liar who did the odd job for the president and was not important. Which is odd because its been proven time and time again how many off them know him and included him in private conversations and important stuff.

She has been excellent both times I have seen her in hearings - clear, focused questions that avoid pontification and grandstanding. Thought Pressley and Khanna were also effective - wish some of the more tenured members would follow their example.

If that information was vital to our understanding of Cohen’s testimony or character, rather than merely a thuggish threat to make Cohen back out, why didn’t he share it?

Hard not to think it right. From Oz on the same coast and posts similarly to that guy sparingly over a couple of days a week and seems overly interested in Trump and American affairs with little or no interest in the Everton forum. Oh and this comment in that one thread about "this forum" after only a few days a member was a big give away - "That's suprising. I had a few others in mind who would be quicker to cry foul"

The dossier puts a mobile device registered to Cohen in the Czech Republic. It would have to be verified by other records.

Without a doubt, Cohen is a liar and shady character, willing to bend and break the law to get stuff done. But what does this alone say about Trump? For ten years, this guy was his close confidant, Lawyer and fixer. Either Trump is a terrible judge of character or he employed Cohen precisely because of those qualities. Or both.

Even if Trump were as innocent as the driven snow in all of this ( ) and he knew nowt about owt, his competency as POTUS woukd be totally suspect for placing great trust, over many years, in such a scoundrel.
