Total tally 14..

A convicted liar states something and the amount of people jumping on board as if it were the holy truth.

Simply stating something does not make it true, let alone evidence. It needs to be corroborated, verified etc.

Cohen stated he hadn't been to the Czech Republic. Do you believe that ? Part of the Steele Dossier relies on Cohen having done so.

I can't put too much weight o much of what Cohen says.

I thought the Steele Dossier didn't have any credibility?

It is testimony though, provided under oath. He could be lying again which is why the other witnesses, like say Trump CFO, need to be also put on oath to confirm or deny the charges.

However not all of Cohen’s testimony was oral - he also brought literal checks of payments by both Trump and by his son that both violate campaign finance laws and the Presidential disclosure laws.

I personally do not believe large chunks of the Steele dossier, including the Prague trips and the pee tape.

To me, the cheque really doesn't mean too much atm, particularly given it's coming from Cohen. It doesn't state on it what it is for and the amount differs greatly to what Cohen alleges he paid to Daniels, being 130,000 USD.

What happened to the other 95k ?

All his testimony does he give one side more questions to ask, but doesn't really answer anything backed up with evidence.

Mueller's report is really all that matters

Cohen’s testimony today matches Guiliani’s, the presidents own lawyer, and documentation SDNY made in court. There were iirc 11 or 12 payments of 35k to reinburse Cohen made up of the $130k, a top up to make sure he was not out of pocket on state/federal taxes (the payments were labelled legal fees so would have classed as income and therefore liable for tax) and a bonus.

The only discrepancy is that Guiliani says it doesn’t break any laws and others (including apparently SDNY) believe it does.
