On the other hand, despite dubious ties to Theranos ("It's like Lehman Brothers, but for human life"), he would appear to be far more competent and reality-based and hinged and literate than the CIA and NSC picks. So perhaps bypassing the National Security Act in the name of National Security wouldn't be the worst idea.
