Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Roger Stone, a close friend and former adviser of President Trump, are preparing for a war. The pair recently recorded a trip they took to a gun range where they said they were readying themselves in case a civil war breaks out in the wake of Trump being removed from office. "We defensively have a right to defend ourselves," Jones said in the video. "Roger's been going to the shooting range more and more, and now has security, just like we do." The pair practice firing an array of semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons in the clip, which lasts well over an hour.
Media Matters notes that Stone violates a basic safety rule by placing his finger on the trigger of an Uzi submachine gun before he was ready to shoot. An instructor repeatedly reminds him to take his finger off the trigger before he is forced to physically remove it.Stone, known for his eccentric attire and glasses, also remarks that he can't see where the safety is because of the glasses he's wearing.
