Wait, they're claiming he was working for Russia around about the time Comey was fired (May 2017), yet are only publishing this now in January 2019? So basically even if they had their suspicions, it came to absolutely nothing, as did the suspicions that he was working with Russia to rig the election? What ado about nothing. They'll stop at nothing to try and bring him down!
Erm. The FBI investigation findings were handed over to Mueller. TBD.

If anybody else was President and was doing exactly the same job as he's doing now, everybody would be lauding him/her as doing a fantastic job. The bias against him is disgraceful. He's a bit of a knob and all that, but he's doing great things for the country.

You're absolutely right. I'd love his work destroying the environment and hastening climate change, allienating allies, increasing the deficit, shutting down the government while thumbing his nose at the the very basis of the constitution, ruining farmers livelihood via tariffs, ripping families apart and losing the kids, etc ad nauseam, if he just wasn't a bit of a nob.

Made me wonder, what happens if the House decides to impeach Trump but McConnell just doesn't do anything? I mean, he completely abdicated his responsibility with Garland, what occurs if he does it here too?

Not just Garland. He's doing it as we speak.
Any of the pieces of legislation the Democrats have passed in the House (to re-open the government without wall funding) in the last few days would get a veto-proof majority in the Senate (one of them is identical to legislation that passed 100-0 in the Senate just before the New Year) but he won't bring them to a vote "because the president wouldn't sign them" - even though that's utterly irrelevant at the size of majority that they'd have.
Regarding impeachment, I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the Senate Majority Leader has the option in that instance to not schedule the "trial" like he can with a regular vote. I could be wrong though.

Soooo, if Barack Obama had called Mexicans murderers and rapists; bragged about sexual assault; insulted a disabled reporter; had two affairs with porn stars and paid to hush them up; shut down the government for a record number of days over a wall that experts say was neither needed nor useful; tweeted like a lunatic with very unpresidential language; cozied up to dictators and despots; gave family members high-level unvetted jobs; repeatedly lied publically; gave a tax break to the richest 1%; attacked the FBI; attacked the US judiciary; went through more staff in two years as most 8-year administrations; had more staff indictments than any other administration; supported and stood by alleged sex-offenders, neo-nazis and paedophiles;separated children from parents at the border; presided over the worst slump in the stock market in years; increased national debt; instigated a trade war with China; alienated the USA's closest allies; Conspired with Russia, then he would've been lauded as doing a fantastic job? Is that what you're saying? Barack Obama... the guy that faced calls to apologise and resign for having the audacity to wear a tan suit...
