What will President Trump's letter to his successor say? Will he actually do one? or will it be a tweet? While not perfect, it's clear that President GHW Bush was light years ahead of our current president in terms of decorum, awareness, respect and basic decency.

When I walked into this office just now I felt the same sense of wonder and respect that I felt four years ago. I know you will feel that, too.
I wish you great happiness here. I never felt the loneliness some Presidents have described.
There will be very tough times, made even more difficult by criticism you may not think is fair. I'm not a very good one to give advice; but just don't let the critics discourage you or push you off course.

It will probably be a letter to ask the new president to pardon him... Because if all goes well, Trump will be impeached, indicted and hopefully convicted!

TBF that is probably the most honest thing he has ever done during his time in office; I mean the fact that May, Xi, Putin, Modi (especially) and Trudeau has signed means it is worth probably less than the cost of the ink used to sign, given that they've done very little to actually deal with climate change and in most cases have actively made things worse.

If his reasons were that it doesn’t go far enough, and we need to be doing a lot more - then fair enough.

But his reason is “I don’t believe in climate change, cause I feel it in my gut” (and I like moneys from fossil fuel companies).
