I'm not sure of the validity of this, well in fact it sounds like Walter-Mitty stuff, however can any US resident comment on the following scenario.

An old colleague of mine, who currently lives in Pennsylvania, says that he was able to vote multiple times (for Clinton) as there was no ID checks.

He claims that he was able to simply rock up to a polling station and vote without any form of checks, which sounds absolutely ludicrous.

Is this possible? Are there any checks? If so, are they extensive and thorough? Hopefully I can tell him to stop chatting such garbage.

Preventing voter fraud is apparentley racist. At least until it benefits the republicans.
