A lot of people don't understand how many of these people are out there. These aren't even caricatures of Trump people, this is how they think. Those people are very real and remind me of many people in my family
I'm sure there are many papers written on how the internet has empowered people with pretty off beat opinions. A generation ago, if you had white supremacist tendencies, you'd probably suppress them and get on with life. Now there's a community for all sorts of weirdos (including evertonians!). This gives them confidence. It wasn't too hard for Trump to tap in to this. Hopefully someone is able to tap in to decency.

There can be absolutely no doubt about this.

A half-wit cousin of mine posted to social media today that Trump isn't the problem it is the way liberals raise their children (complete with photoshopped photo of a pair of minority children holding a sign that says "[Poor language removed] Trump").

Soybean farmers got huge aid package to try to cushion impact of Trump tariffs, wonder if Ford will get any bailouts.

Who would of thought that it's not the 1960s anymore and supply chains are very much global so entering into a self inflicted trade war is not smart and will damage many of your own industries that have taken years to establish (and your trade deficit increased faster than it was anyway).

The no deal brexit fan club might want to pay attention to this as well.

One reason Trump gave for the steel and aluminium tariffs was that he wanted a "better NAFTA". He claims he got that with USMCA and yet the tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from Canada and Mexico remain. Since Canada is the biggest US supplier of both metals it has huge impacts on domestic producers for no discernible reason unless Trump really thinks he can recreate a domestic steel and aluminium industry.
