The Trump administration is suppressing an Environmental Protection Agency report that warns that most Americans inhale enough formaldehyde vapor in the course of daily life to put them at risk of developing leukemia and other ailments, a current and a former agency official told POLITICO.
The warnings are contained in a draft health assessment EPA scientists completed just before Donald Trump became president, according to the officials. They said top advisers to departing Administrator Scott Pruitt are delaying its release as part of a campaign to undermine the agency’s independent research into the health risks of toxic chemicals.

Amazing , almost jaw dropping.
There is a position that Trump could take that the Russian interference didn’t influence the end result and his team were in no way involved in it but that the interference itself was bad and should not be repeated.
He has conspicuously not done the latter part - if you are Putin why the hell wouldn’t you interfere even more in support of Trump and Republicans in 2018? You’re unlikely to get even a mild ticking off by the President (who instead saves his vitriol for European allies) let alone any tangible pushback.
At least one of Trump’s talking points has been spiked, if it wasn’t ludicrous before to think that Putin preferred Clinton to Trump (as the president has claimed and was part of his “logic” that Russia weren’t behind the hack) it will harder to peddle given Putin explicitly says he preferred the election of Trump.

Not defending him, just that the quote had no context. Now we all know it's Trump blabbering to Piers Morgan during an informal interview on that big airplane. It wasn't a public speech.
