Once again there, Trump demonstrating that his use of "nobody knew" or "nobody had any idea" is his way of saying "*I* didn't know"

LITERALLY EVERYONE KNEW IT WAS INCREDIBLY COMPLICATED

HE'S SO ******* WEIRD
Its exactly what you get when a really creepy disgusting individual attempts to be charming, it comes off every bit as forced and false as it is

My favorite ski run in the world is "Outhouse" on the Mary Jane mountain at Winter Park Resort in Colorado. I enjoy it because of the challenge, but I know when I ski it, I'm only risking myself. Unfortunately, I feel the US' choice for President has placed all of us on this sort of adventure, and we've risked far more than ourselves.

That Mary Jane complex looks interesting.

He’s former member of the government but your point stands . I’ve only heard snippets of the interview, I do intend to listen to it all , but it certainly seems at least some of his message is downright dangerous.

The laughably named "US Ambassador for Religious Freedom" apparently lobbied our ambassador in Washington over Tommy Robinson last month.

The fact that the far right are emboldened, have far more resources available to them and have their points of view echoed by at least two of the biggest papers in the country should worry far more people than it is.

I'll never understand why some on the right in this country feel the need to kowtow to Trump. At least the likes of Peter Hitchens see Trump as he is:
"Trump cares little about this country. His arrogant rudeness towards us suits some domestic game he is playing, for he is the most brilliant politician since Princess Diana - not especially intelligent or knowledgeable, but cunning beyond belief. He knew what he was doing when he said what he said, and you may be sure it was for his benefit, not ours."

Surprised no one has made a mahooosive deal about Trump saying openly that the culture of Europe is being destroyed by immigration. If that isn't an openly racist assertion I don't know what is.

He spent that interview with the rag openly repeating white supremacist tropes, and they then put them - with a worse spin applied - on the front page.

I realize you meant in the UK but here in the US Cheeto Mussolini has a 90%+ approval rating among GOP voters. Of those GOP politicians who have challenged him, who among them has come away stronger in the eyes of their constituency? None that I can think of. Of the conservative media folk who have walked away from the GOP, which has found larger audience?

Until the voters of the US repudiate this self-serving pile of excrement posing as POTUS, do not expect the leaders of the "conservative movement" to do a damn thing. Further, do not expect the rank and file of the "evangelical Christian" movement to suddenly live their faith. When the Dotard is eventually run out on a rail, it will be amusing as all get out to watch the Christopublicans turn on him and crucify their former messiah.
