Not a chance. They’ll be hoping to get another 1 on there.Right up until they get the 5/4 in the supreme court
Everyone needs to send RBG all their vitamins and cod liver oil tablets.

There's no money to be made from breastfeeding so we'll recommend formula instead as there is money to be made in formula
It’s incredible how unsubtle they are.Saw this. Utterly shameful. One of Trump’s major donors was a baby formula company, so Trump orders the UN to delete text about breastfeeding.
Agreed. It is not about policy, decency, or competence. It is about the fact that the majority of Trump supporters love to see progressives/liberals/democrats be upset by Trump. Trump's policies, comments, and speeches are full of hate, lies, divisiveness, and morally indefensive content, but so long as it "pisses off the libtards" they are fine with it. This is a fairly typical conservative stance these days: let's go to church on Sundays and spout out all these empty Jesus-filled platitudes about do unto others, about being a good Christian, blah blah blah, but every other day of the week, let's be sure to support Trump's racist, xenophobic, authoritarian policies even if they completely stomp on American values, norms, and policies, and even if they are completely antithetical to what being a good Christian is all about.
Some of this. But it's not like there is a serious alternative for Christian/conservative voters. Still a lot of those people who will claim they're holding their nose to support Trump. And tonight (putting another conservative on the Supreme Court) will validate that for millions.
yea, I know a few Trump voters who voted for him purely for the supreme court picks. Pretty selfish stuff but it seems to be paying off for them. Some of this. Welcome back. And as Tsubaki said above, some Trump voters voted for him with respect to jobs and the lack of options/vision provided by Hilary. This was particularly the case in the rustbelt. But I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around the poll that said something like 80%+ of Republicans supported Trump's child separation policy. That just seems spiteful.

And of course once it was Russia putting it forward, the Trump administration suddenly didn’t have a problem with it..."In the end, the Americans’ efforts were mostly unsuccessful. It was the Russians who ultimately stepped in to introduce the breastfeeding measure – and the Americans did not threaten them. "
Aren't Russia supposed to be the baddieslol
I’m so sick of the “a certain group of disenfranchised people” rhetoric, when conservatives are the ones who actively encourage (and legislate in support of) disenfranchisement of various societal groups because they know they won’t vote for them.Thanks. I'm so sick of politics in this era, the break did me good. I'm going to try not to get too wrapped into discussions here.
There is plenty of spite. But, Trump promised conservative judges, looks like he'll provide 2+. Promised a tax cut, and that happened. Promised further derailing of the ACA, that happened. Promised to change the direction on immigration enforcement, and that happened. Promised a tariff war, and that happened.
Reality is that a lot of Americans wanted those things, and Trump was the only one who offered them. Even conservatives acknowledge that there is a lot of "[doing something stupid] to troll the libs" going on, but I think it's a mistake to overlook the idea that Trump is fulfilling a policy agenda, at least to some extent. And of course Tsubaki is right too, a lot of those people may or may not, at root, care about the policy positions they claim to hold, but Trump nonetheless is giving direction to a certain group of disenfranchised people.

“A certain group of disenfranchised people” - god it must be awful being white and “Christian” in America. Imagine the hardship.
“To the oppressor, equality feels like oppression”
This fella is 40.
