I think trying to predict FIFA's definition of political interference is a bit chancy.

That said, he certainly didn't help the US with this tweet.

Looks likely from what I am reading that Morocco might nick it.

Decent choice if you compare them to the previous two winners but obviously the United infrastructure is superior.

Morocco though is a football mad nation in the sweet spot in terms of global football audience time zones so it will be a tight one.

I, for one, don't want the WC spread throughout 5 million+ square miles--that's insane and ruinous for traveling fans. Not to mention the idiocy of traveling across borders (customs, visas, etc.) to watch a match. Put it in one country, and tell Trump to shut it.

Considering it's in Russia, Qatar and Morocco is a potential destination, I don't think those people have much of a political argument.
