Trump the secret redcoat, that why his missus always wears one

It's been our secret plan of years to get a Scotsman to be president.

Twice in a row now (Brexit) it seems consensus on social media is not indicative of a populous, just the loud opinionated majority who think they can control others thoughts and opinions.

These outcomes make sense really, when anyone daring to have an opinion even slightly outside the oppression of the sanctimonious politically correct brigade these days gets harangued publicly, they just keep to themselves and act/vote where it matters.

I have no strong opinions on the issues or the outcomes of either, but really do respect people for sticking to their guns regardless.

This was always the way, for as far back as you care to look.
That was until people gained the means to find out for themselves and stopped listening to the bullsh1t being peddled.

That's where the real power lies now.
Knowledge, and the desire to do something with it.

You know, the media saying they underestimated the 'rural white vote' and all these previously unaccounted votes.

Just looked at the numbers, between the two main candidates, voter turnout is WAY down.

2012 (Obama/Romney) had a turnout of 62.3% of registered voters (or 126.83 million votes for the two main candidates).

2016 has a turnout close to 50% of registered voters, and so far T/C have garnered 119.2 million votes.

So, I am more thinking it has nothing to do with the 'rural white vote' and more to do with not wanting Clinton (despite just eeking the popular vote, but that was down to California....and still it is within 300k votes)
