It really is sad regardless. No matter who won there was going to be so much division and hate from the losing side. All you heard was about was Hiliary's emails and Wall Street connections and Trump's tapes and scandals. The key connection with all of those was those things are solely about their personal past, not their plans for the future of the country. It seemed more like a high school election than a federal one

As regulars on here will gladly attest, I'm not in the 'Thatcher was bad' camp, so I'm inclined to think May will be infinitely worse. The thing is, the Dutch have an election next year, so do the French and the Germans. We've shown the way down a path that Trump has followed, and I'm sure Le Pen, Wilders et al will gladly follow too.

When this was said pre-referendum it was branded as scaremongering and project fear. Given that the two most historically open and mercantile nations on the planet have put up the shutters is a pretty big beacon.
