On a side note, have you been following the Upshot early voting analysis in North Carolina? Find it fascinating and will be interested to see how it compares to the actual vote.

I have. It's really interesting. Between 538 and the Upshot, there's some really compelling data visualization and analysis. 538 had an interesting article on Gaston County, NC the other day

Gobsmacked to hear that from Kornheiser. They ARE offended by Donald Trump. Having been brought to this point, he was supposed to do a job, which was to lose badly. Is Trump himself responsible for his success at this point? No. This is all down to Hillary and the people who could not get her to accept "no" for an answer on this demented thing with the bathroom server. She built this mountain herself. It all comes out of that.

Why would she do that? What would convince her that she could get away with it, unless she's someone who has always gotten her way?

As I said all along - if we are talking all about [fill in blank] going into election day, [fill in blank] will lose. Election day started last week. The most plausible accusation is that the timing of the Comey memos could not be more effectively placed to do Clinton harm. That is clear. I'm sure that Clintonites are livid, and they're not keeping it a secret.

For better or worse, he keeps the utopian view that journalists can hold personal opinions but keep it to themselves when doing their job (unless it's an opinion/editorial piece).

Of course, he loves personal attacks in a written piece more than anything else, but I think he prefers when the story necessitates such.

I read somewhere, can't think where, that if anyone upsets the Clintons they tend to die, make of that what you will. How strong are these rumours.

Although it is an outlier to most public polls it is based on a method that most campaigns use which is supposedly more accurate. But didn't see this sort of analysis in previous cycles so honestly no idea how much trust, or not, to place in its information.

It was excellent, been enjoying their daily podcasts as well. Speaking of visualization the 538 swing state "wiggly worm" of the winding path to 270 votes is a very good example of getting information across simply.
