This is what I'm thinking too...

There has to be a reason for the FBI to quite literally interfere in an election, and I doubt it's on behalf of Trump.

Yes, but your 'free' insurance does not end up screwing the individual over to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of debt, functionally creating a debt-slave.

I have a friend that got in an accident without insurance. He owes something like $100K now. If he doesn't pay it, that cost gets deferred to everyone else's medical bills, causing the cost of care to rise.

You don't have that situation, because the bill gets paid.

Not to mention how the insurance structure inflates costs while reducing coverage. Rent seekers all over again.

The thing is the FBI never really cleared her. Comey came up with his own interpretation of the law to swerve doing anything about it. I doubt anything will come of this but it will be at least damaging to a certain extent. And you cannot really replace Clinton since millions of people have early voted for her. You cannot make those votes go away.

This will dangle. We'll know little more regarding this than we do now by election day, and lots of folks have already voted, anyway. That's how it works. We'll hear scads of unconfirmed rumo(u)rs from both sides.
