Regarding Trump, my argument is three-fold:

1) he didn't admit to an actual crime
2) for this he shouldn't be booted out the presidential race
3) everyone is free to think he's an awful man and would make an awful President

Didnt know that. Thought you were from the Hull area and moved out there.

Not arsed if he is booted out or not really. And no idea of the rules in his party about doing that anyrate. For all I know, he can be sacked off if they reckon he is going to be a disaster, even if he was Mother Theresa.

Born in Germany, Dad was in the British Forces so we moved around loads. Settled in his home city of Hull at age 10, left at age 19 for London, left there at 27 to rejoin the Motherland (Mam's German). Been here last 11 years now. So formatively a Hullian. Dual-nationality with two passports. Ze Germans and the English always ask me where I'm from as my accent's a bit hybrid. Support Germany in the football but only have one club team and it's not German.

Soz for the life-story, I kept it as short as I could :cheers:

I don't think they can sack him off willingly, he needs to be in contempt, like actually admitting to a crime or being charged with one. I think everytime there is a story which may promise something like this then those who really want him out (half the GOP, all the Democrats and most of the rest of the world) then they'll latch onto it and by sheer will try to create a situation where he'll have to be booted out. Paul Ryan has said as much already.

Is that fair? In my view not really. Corbyn and Trump have a lot in common, except perhaps politics.

It's the power players in the major parties that decide the list of candidates to choose from. It's impossible to get elected currently unless you have their backing. A lot of Americans are unhappy about the way things are but are individually powerless to change it and the political system as is will fight tooth and nail any attempt to lessen their power/influence.

This is the real issue.

Can't the people just vote in droves for the independents? That'll hell sure send a signal.
