I didn’t mind any of them until Dom’s recent article. Joyce has always been critical but fair. Bascombe doesn’t seem that biased either in his articles unless I’ve missed something.

I remember he wrote match review for Echo after the 3-0 AJ derby, and not once did he mention the word “Everton.” Not once. It was all “the home side, Liverpools great rivals,” but Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool all the way through.

....his Dad was a real Irishman. A tall, tough man but a very nice man.

I found Dominic King a bit of a loudmouth. I remember him being in the bar one year when Cheltenham races was on and he was up shouting at the telly every race. When a horse fell at the last he gave a noisy cheer, I reminded him that real sports people don’t cheer when an animal falls. Also, others have punted on that horse.

I know this is probably common knowledge.... But listening to him this morning on sky Sunday supplement he came across as more of a Liverpool fan. I thought he was one of us, is that about right??
Did they say..let’s talk Everton and the spend 15 minutes on Liverpool again?

He's entitled to his opinion on Ancelotti. The abuse he got was dead weird.

We're one of the touchiest fanbases going, yet nearly always end up eating our own words.

Yeh, obviously I'm not from Liverpool but from what I've heard, he's a bit of a tosser.

But then again most people can be if they've had a bevvy or whatever.

He's allowed to support who he supports (Liverpool) and allowed to write his opinion. In fact, he's in a job which a major part of it is him putting his opinion out there.

I really wasn't impressed by response from some of our fans when he wrote the Ancelotti piece. It was so touchy and OTT.
