to add to my point, i think he's the epitome of a hard working player, and i don't just mean on the pitch, i think off the pitch the lad has a desperation to get better, a willingness to learn and improve himself, and it shows.
that'll come, he may be trying too hard and snatching at chances at the moment, more experience and confidence in his own abilities and he'll get to his level, whatever that is. I do like his movement across the lineDefinitely can see something in him now which i couldn't see last season... not too sure about his finishing ability though.
his hold up and link up play is better than Lukaku. If he starts finishing as well in the next couple of years, then Lukak-who?
Your last sentence is Koamen good and proper.Did a decent job tonight.
A top striker would have taken the chance he had, which is why we still need a top striker, but the lad's movement and energy is going to cause a lot of teams problems over the next few years. If, he can be anywhere near as close to being as clinical in front of goal as Rom was, then that, coupled with his all round game, would mean he'd be a top, top player, but, no-one knows, he may never get that edge in front of goal. But, even if he ends up being a 10 to 15 goals per season forward, he's still likely to end up being bloody useful.
People have been spoilt with having Rom around for four seasons and now automatically judge any forward by his goal scoring exploits, and forget the other parts of a strikers job. But OK, that's the internet and right-hand shufflers for you.

So is mine though.
Boss on Monday upfront, so why play him left midfield tonight?
Simply because he is a player in form and that was Ronko's tactics for tonight and we're through to the group stages , job done.
A player in form as striker.. So play him as a striker. Annoys when managers play players out of position to do a job
