Yeah agree with this, the u20 group is the first of a few age groupos with real potential, so get a few of them used to the full set up.
It also creates a bigger pool for southgate to choose from instead of picking 25 players from 30 availible, it makes players not take there place in the squad for granted (Oxlade Chamberlain, Walcott etc).

I dont like comparing england to other nationalitys but i dont necesarily think you have to be great fro your club to play for your country, look at germany with Podolski & Klose, pick the players that you think will do best for you

I agree with the sentiment, but is Calvert Lewin really a player with potential.
