Yep, according to Squawka he had 2 touches. Running the game he was.
Definitely had more than that. It was right in front of my eyes and he'd made at least two dribbles and won us a corner.. before getting injured in abar the 6th minute.

We looked dangerous with him partnered with Rom that day, after he had done more than enough to warrant his start in various sub appearances.

Edit, prob closer to 10 minute mark tbh

DCL is clearly not a winger in the mould of say Geri, Bolassie, Lookman etc but he's shown he can play in support of a striker , most notably when Niasse was setting the U23s on fire with his goals and DCL on a couple of occaisions used his pace in attack to get behind the defence and supply Niasse. He offers something different when up front or playing wider and is closer to Kone's style than say Valencia/ Lookman. He doesn't strike you as an out an out goalscorer compared to Rom at the same age, but he will contribute more to the team effort. He's got a long way to go yet to prove himself as a regular PL player , but he's similar to Davies in his attitude and enthusiasm to learn more and can only improve from here.

Decent in the air.

DCL on the bench today , that's a surprise thought he may have come back via U23s on Monday but great that RK rates him so highly. His last chance today to score a PL goal as a teenager, so hope he gets on and scores.

Koeman obviously sees something in this lad. We have seen a few glimpses of skill but not much to date. He must be tearing it up in training. I was expecting Lookman to be given a cameo today but can't complain as Koeman got it spot on today.
