I'm would of agreed with you at one time, however he was presented with 2 excellent chances against Villa and missed both. However even Broja when he came on at Arsenal away looked more dangerous. I don't think he's a bad player, I just don't trust him to take chances, he just doesn't have ruthless streak or any character that other strikers have. Beto isn't perfect but he will fight and make defenders lives difficult. DCL had 2 chances against Newcastle and missed both.

I meant that at least in that game he did more to unsettle Arsenal defenders, of course DCL is overall better, my point was DCL doesn't make a nuisance of himself off ball. DCL isn't a bad player, he just doesn't take his chances.

Maybe an average striker at least makes the keeper dive, or maybe only hits row D instead of row V with the follow up effort

only missiles that are on target need intercepting. Not something that will overly concern DCL.
