I wonder what their highest wage is there? Would he take an offer waaaaay lower than what we offered in order to go up there for a season, slot a lot of goals, play European football and then hope that generates enough interest from a big club in the PL to take a punt on him?

He has just as much chance of breaking down with an injury unfortunately, but will be interesting to see his next move.

That`s not actually a bad shout.

Statement signing for them, they`d probably pay him what he wants and they`d more than likely get a decent goal return out of him, as long as he stayed fit.

Feels like a PR exercise. We say we wanted him to stay and are grateful for his time at the club, but he wanted too much dosh. He'll say he loves the club but was sadly unable to agree terms to stay. In the world of PSR, you wonder if another Prem club will offer him what he wants considering his terrible injury record and poor conversion rate other than the Ancelotti era. Perhaps Forest as another option to Wood with Awoniyi's terrible injury.

Any team that wants to play with the CF within the 18 yard box and first time finishes then yea, they'll take him for free.
