A fit Dom could still be an asset but for the wages far too injury prone.
There’s no point having a back up striker who is never fit and barely scores when he actually does make it on the pitch. His wages can be better invested elsewhere so we are not stuck with him into his 30s.Not having a back up striker.
Still don't get why there's so much hate on here.

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be based on comments...
I can’t see many PL teams signing a CF who’s always injured and doesn’t score when he’s on the pitchI hope when/if he comes back in different colours, he gets a good reception.
We all know his strengths and weaknesses but either way, he's been here man and boy and deserves it.
Please tag in. These matters require further exploration. You know what, I don’t think it’s as much about Dom as it is the discourse on here and in the media.
We were told that it wasn’t worth giving Beto a run of games. We were gaslit by people telling us we are so so much better when he’s in the team. Patronised by people claiming he was everything up to and including ‘the best striker in world football’.
His mate/family member even pops up on here to ridicule anyone who dares criticise him.
It’s really been grating for anyone that has watched him and thought he’s a very mediocre striker that is extremely lucky to be playing for Everton.
He’s got loads of space to keep running into, but he takes it early on his weaker foot and hits it straight at the keeper. The follow up is even worse, he has time to take a touch and get a better shot away.
