Will always feel as tho he never got the love he deserved, even before his injuries, the fanbase never really took to him, im biased, but I always found it strange.

People will have their own reasons and thats up to them, but considering we gave players like Straq loads of love, its just a bit strange.

I guess its cos his best season was behind closed doors.

Think you are spot on about not getting the love when you look at the important goals he's scored for us and the unselfishness part he had to play under dyches system . probably he will be looked upon more favourably after he has left us

Disagree tbh, though he was very well liked up until FSW, then when the injuries hit everything changed. There was post after post of people pinning their hopes on him, the season for some seem to practically ride on his fitness. And when it became clear he wasn't going to be fit, or at least never as good as people had built him up in thier heads over that time. It became his fault, people got frustrated he wasn't as good as they had built him up to be. And then with every injury people got angrier and angrier with him.
