I thought the goal Welbeck scored did highlight the difference between a natural goalscoring forward and a hard working honest centre forward like DCL who will score goals but will never be prolific.

I do feel however if Solanke played in the Everton team last season he would have struggled to score as well.

I felt that leaving both Ndiaye and Lindstrom on the bench last Saturday at the start failed to address our biggest failing last season which was a total lack of creativity.
mate Welbeck is far from a natural goalscorer, i doubt he's ever got double figures.

yet he's still miles ahead of DCL

When the pen was given on Saturday, I wondered why was it McNeil who was due to take it rather than Dom? Maybe it was a confidence issue.

nar he was holding onto the ball to pass it to DCL last second, everyone does it now.

suppose so the defenders/goalie try and get in mcneils head before he passes it to DCL anyway.

yer mcneil had the ball and was stood close to the pen spot, i sit in the lowers so was right infront of me.

honestly mate they all do it now, DCL would have taken that pen 10000%
yeah everyone does it now

i mean its quite obvious who pen takers are for most clubs these days no one is going to be fooled by it

imagine if man utd get a pen and rashford hold the ball, everyone knows fernandes is taking it so they can still imtimidate fernandes with no repercussions

Should have been doing this week's ago , not days after a humiliating home defeat where he looked like a spare part at a wedding.
Really bad business by the club this.

Agreed mate, said it all summer we needed to impose a deadline and if a decision wants made he’s for sale.

Now the opposite has happened he’s out a deadline on the club and we’re scrambling.

The club have allowed themselves to be strung along.
