Tbf, all of the managers that work with him see his value. The problem we and he have faced is crap management and numbskulls. Watching the way Moyes is setting the team up is such a relief.

DCL is a good player and can score goals. We just haven't played to his strengths the last couple of seasons and he was clearly frustrated by that. I'm not saying he's world class or anything but for a lower midtable team like us he will be one of the better players. It's best to work with that and build a team around him rather than use him as hoof ball outlet. The guy can play football. It's refreshing to see Moyes sees this as did Carlo.

DCL like certain others is a player we should try to keep at the club, BUT we should be looking at him having to fight genuinely for that spot as his own if he does, genuine competition or even as backup then he's worth having.

Get players around him and create some chances and he’ls a threat. Still a very good player, should do everything we can to renew his contract.

Jep, good that he finds that chances and also gets more support. The goal was brillant. Finishing is still a problem on him, as he missed 3 big chances against Villa and Spurs overall.

Something he really needs to work on is positioning and timing, seen on the free header before the 3:0 own goal, but also vs Villa if you look on his foot position, there is no way he can score with this foot position. Was totally wrongly positioned.
