….somebody posted that his 8 years with us has cost the club approximately £29m, probably less than the likes of Beto will cost over his two or three seasons with us.

DCL has been a decent return on £1m investment, not sure why some posters are obsessed by how much he costs. Ideally he either leaves this window or signs a new deal, but if he runs his contract down and leaves for free next summer he will hopefully still have a contribution to make.
