Most of the vitriol towards a professional athlete, who has and is, trying absolutely everything to be fit for his team is laughable. If his body is broken, it’s hardly his fault is it? Benitez and Lampard both rushed him back because they were 2 of the worst managers in our entire history and had no ideas to get points without him, blame those two absolute stains on our history for DCL being crocked and not the player for desperately trying to help the team ffs

Best DCL can hope for now is a pay as you play contract, bit like what Andy Carroll was on, pains me to say but Carroll was twice the player, DCL is pretty much finished.
