I like him, but he's not the deadly finisher we desperately need. Neither is Richarlison, to be honest. I know at least one of them is off this summer, Richarlison in my opinion, so my question would be are we able to have a massive squad revamp if we sell the pair of them for, say, 100m, and use the freed-up cash from wages saved on the likes of Tosun, Delph, Sigurdsson, Kenny? Plus if we are somehow able to sell a couple of Gomes, Iwobi, Holgate, Keane, Rondon, etc, that would give us even more wiggle room. Seeing as I have absolutely no affiliation or genuine liking for any of our players, I couldn't care less who is sold so long as it leads to us getting stronger.

Let's guesstimate at £100m in fees generated and £20m saved in wages if we sell Richarlison and DCL and don't keep any of those who are out of contract in the summer.

Lob in wages from say Gomes and Holgate, at about 4m a year, and maybe £15-20m if we can offload the pair.

That's quite a lot of money for a nice squad rebuild, provided the owner is willing to give some funds on top of that as well.

I’d have no problem selling any player.
It’s the reinvestment that worries. We’d have to find two strikers who can hit double figures every season. Not impossible but we’ve wasted so much money on rubbish that you worry we’d waste it on slow players on long contracts.

Players like DCL are very hard to find. We would be mad to sell him for anything less than a kings ransom. In my view, he is still improving and in the right team will be leathal.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush….

He is very good but I still think that if we get a £50-60m offer from Arsenal then we should let him go.

We could get Broja for probably half of that if not even less and get a real quality midfielder or centre back in as well.

As bad as this year has been, we are only a solid CB and a solid CM/DM away from having a solid team and then we can start looking at picking up youthful squad players who can be progressed gradually.

Not enough that at all in the current market for English players.

Grealish £100 million
Maguire £80 million
Sancho £73 million

We would be fools to accept anything less than £75 million based on his age and nationality.

We should sell whilst we can though as I have a feeling he'll start getting plagued by quad/muscle injuries.

Why would a player equally as good cost half the amount?

There are circumstances when it makes sense to sell a player, but I would be very cautious about letting him go. England international, home grown and talented with room to spare. Arsenal should be mad ex to cough up mega bucks. Crystal Palace wanted £60+ for Zaha because he was important to them. We need even more for DCL.

I don’t see us getting that for him mate when vlahovic didn’t even go for that I don’t think. If we push the price up too high then I think Arsenal will just move on to Isak from Sociedad who looks to be a better player to me.

We could get big money if Newcastle also survive and get involved in a bidding war with Arsenal I guess

I think Broja is in different circumstances, he will return to a Chelsea team who have strikers ahead of him so they could be persuaded. Unlike us who only has DCL as a striker really so that’s why the difference in price would come I reckon.

Nobody was willing to pay the money for Zaha and while he has done well for them, I think we need to cash in on DCL while his value is at its peak which I think it will be this summer. Perhaps we can wait another year and hope he does well in Qatar for England but that’s a risk

Arsenal paid £70 million for Pepe mate who's flopped here.

Strikers that are PL proven are worth their weight in gold.

£75 million and I would sell in a heartbeat.

I don’t think his value will go down though.

I’m not against selling, but only if we can get an appropriate replacement. That is where I am nervous.

Borja may get better offers elsewhere.

He'll pull his finger out now that he has no excuses to hide in the dressing room or tank a few games.

Get shut in the summer. Him and his face gurning mate Richarlison.

We need a reset here. No tiaras and tantrums.

£150M the pair and invest in whip smart committed professionals.
