Maybe Dobbin signed with the understanding that his minutes are going to increase because DCL is being sold. We need money and he's worth the most we will get for him in this moment. Sucks that its January but might be best. We shall see what happens.

Is it true he is pushing for a move? We put up with 3 or 4 years of him waisting chances and infesting time in him. Like a horrendous amount of time. Has had one true very good season. Nothing for this one. And wants a move.

Some neck.
I haven't seen that anywhere, but it wouldn't suprise me...we're an absolute state atm

Everyone, including us, respected Carlo up to the moon. And yet still he wasted many, many chances under him. Everyone respected Ole, but they also lost confidence in his baffling tactics. Respect is such an overrated term. They respect their bank balance, the latest Bentley and some swim suit model in the passenger seat.
This, in comparison to other strikers, is simply not true. We just remember his misses more because it matters more to us...He's a v good striker and still not peaking

I know but we suffered a hell of a lot to give him minutes. Would never in a million years thought he'd push for a move. Not this soon. I know the clubs in a state n all.

Specially the club facing relegation.

I agree, although tbf to him he played a lot of those minutes out of position. Where is it reported he's pushing for a move? Hope that's not true and he at least has the commitment to help ensure our survival

Arsenal will allegedly be after Isak in the summer and I can't forsee them wanting DCL too. Perhaps they are just putting the feelers out and covering all bases? I doubt there's any concrete interest coming from them in DCL during this window.

It's very doubtful that DCL is getting sold this window.

The Athletic article that is causing a load of issues was published two days ago and simply said Arsenal are interested, which they have been or ages, and that Dom would be interested too, which isn't rocket science.

It also goes to pains to say that Everton don't need to sell (yet).

I’d sell DCL for £60-80m if it helped resolve our financial fair play strife.

Not ideal but needs must.
Well you wouldn't right now would you, because that'd be idiotic. Our financial strife will be a lot worse if we're in the Championship next season.

The summer is a different matter.

He won't push for a move if they appoint Lampard, let's put it that way.

Come the summer it may be a lot different.

Wouldn't accept £60 millions in the current market but anything near £75-80 millions and we would be daft not to sell.

Would be total profit on the books and likely give the new manager a good £100+ million to rebuild the squad and hopefully keep Richarlison.

Arsenal are not going to part exchange one of their better players for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
They'll probably offer us 15m plus Nicholas Pepe, who they'll claim has a value of 55m, which of course will have us naively think we're getting a deal worth 70m for DCL and we'll snap their hands off to accept. Pepe would then go on to become to third coming of Bolasie for us, following in the footsteps of him and Iwobi.

I think Arsenal could get a far better striker than him on the continent for less than £70m. It’s not like they’re short of home grown players either.
