I thought he'd been cheeky and pinched Richarlison's goal at first, but it may not have been going in and glad he made sure.

I was thinking afterwards that he frustrated last season by not being in place for the tap in's.

He seems to be getting better, I hope he continues to put the work in and betters his finishing some more.

Really pleased for him today. Great for him, the team and the club.

Enjoyed all 3 goals but the 1st one was terrific, alert, aware and a bit of arrogance with the finish.

Made them all look easy as well Macca and that's how it should be.

It is an interesting one - he has been told to stay almost entirely in the box, probably due to his limited technical play. You don't organise a ballet like Carlo is doing and have a drunk uncle tripping over the prima ballerina.

Dom is really good with his flicks and holdup at times, but he definitely needs to improve with the ball at his feet. Hell of a weapon for set pieces.

Lukaku got plenty of service. His most prolific seasons for us he rarely made a goal for himself. Not having it that the lunk was some sort of service-starved lone wolf

You'd be in here claiming the second and third goals of the hat-trick didn't count because WBA had ten men if it was Lukaku and you know it.

Odd the way the normally anti EFC MOTD striker trio of Lineker,Wright and Shearer were raving about him even early last season when he wasn't scoring.

Shearer has been raving about him since the end of the 18/19 season to be fair to him

To be fair though it's still only 4 goals in his last 12 starts

He's smashed it so far this season but consistency is the key, something of which he hasn't been able to do YET

Really happy for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, his confidence must be sky-high right now with the way he's pretty much hit the ground running from the get-go this season. Long may it continue for the guy and for Everton.

I liked the tap in.... Made the run into the back post when he could have been slow to react... If he didn't make that run, Richarlisons shot would have gone wide....all the great goalscorers pick up those kind of goals
