Footy these days is driven by analytics. Be in the right place at the right time, make the right runs, etc. It is so much different from the 90’s where games were often won with flair and skill only. Dom is just a physical beast that needs to hone in on his finishing. He is made for today’s footy

All he was lacking was a bit of composure, hes finally getting that.

As you say he has all the tools needed.

There's definitely the analytics side to it which the top modern coaches understand.. but I think they also understand its limits too.
Good Footie is built upon doing the basics well. Under the previous few regimes we have seen our players burdened under match conditions because doing very simple things on the field hasn't come naturally to them - it soaked up an obscene amount of CPU cycles just passing, looking for teammates, moving into space, trapping the ball etc, so less CPU resources were available for the tactical and competitive elements of the game.

Ace vaulting.

I had him written off to be honest, he looked every bit the average striker who would be decent in the Championship. His numbers only verified that opinion. This season however he has 8 in 17 games which is the best return in his career and his overall game seems to be improving pretty rapidly.

He under a world class manager for the first time in his life like many of the players at the club and it really could be the making of him. Made up for him.

Nah...folks just need to calm down. He's shown for a while now that he has all the fundamentals. What concerns me is when some think it's not enough, especially at his age and in that position. I'm sure some are just saying things to say them but it could certainly be done more constructively and not just leave it all up to the coaches to be level-headed.

He's enjoying a purple patch at the moment, which is good as it provides a lot of motivation for him on a personal level to keep pushing and to also calm down a bit, mentally, and make better choices on the pitch.
