Absolutely chuffed to bits for the lad. Has worked his backside off in some absolutely g-a-s-h formations, but now in the right system with a bit of fire in his belly is starting to take off. Players need formations, tactics and motivation - and seeing it all today works for me, he's got Big Duncs fire in him with the ability of a young Sharpy - personally can't wait to see if we can get all the parts of the DCL puzzle together - because we have a player. Get a player who can play off him (kean???) we might save some cash, because the defence needs some serious money on it

He does everything right, except score - or even look like scoring.

He is just minimal threat. There are certain players throughout the league who always look like they´re going to make something happen when they´ve got the ball. DCL is the complete opposite.

Simply, not a good enough player for Everton. He is Championship quality at best.

Wonder if his followers are still thinking they will be right that this lad will make a premier goal scoring forward Our famous number 9. Nice lad tho.

I was listening to his interview and he appears to be a very level-headed and articulate young man, so hopefully he has the intelligence to listen and develop.

He has a great mentor under Ancelotti, which many young players would wish to have, and I can only see him developing further over the course of the season.

Latchford didn't have the best of techniques, but he certainly knew how to score. Before people say anything, I'm not comparing him with Bob, but a goal is a goal.
