. Sometimes his efforts lack power and direction. He gets on the end of things though. And I'm sure the defences consider him "a handful".

Can't argue with it when a striker wins you the game with a good finish.
Largely poor before the goal, but it's all about putting the ball in the net and winning us points - especially against yard dogs like them. Lukaku used to do it brilliantly and we miss that painfully.

To be fair to Dom, he scored the gamewinner against Brighton in my mind. That one was horrendously officiated and he provided a hell of a finish against another lower league side. He is getting better against those teams to be fair to him. Always does well against the more open sides

All of which I thought he was poor at today, tbf he’s usually good at the donkey work and he’s getting more goals than usual but he still lack the skill, technique and intelligence to be the level of striker we need
