Sig on Dom:

"Yeah he's fantastic," Sigurdsson remarked.

"His physical ability is fantastic for such a good player. He's got an incredible leap, I think he can jump as high as anyone!

"He's fit and very strong, quick as well, and he makes it really hard for defenders to deal with him.

"He's always learning, but he's been playing really well over the past couple of months. Hopefully he can keep working hard, keep fit and stay in the side."

Again , “he’s fit, strong , can jump high “ never hear about him being. Clever, technical , leathal etc it’s all about him being an athlete that’s his strength he has the body of a prem player , a very good one if that’s all that’s required. He’s amongst the fastest, fittest and can probably jump the highest in the league, but he lacks quality on the ball, composure , decision making, timing and weight of pass and for all his pace he runs in straight lines with the ball and can’t change direction or actually beat a man when in possession.

Not many number 9s have most of the things you mention he lacks.

Cos thats what he is, a number 9, not a number 10 doing rabonas in the center circle.

Its his job to lead the line, bully the defenders, flick on the ball, hold the ball up, your expecting far too much from a number 9.

The only thing he currently lacks is a bit of composure on the ball, something that will come with age.

Think the comment you need to most pay attention to was "stay in the side".

You don’t think a number 9 should be good technically? Be able to finish? Have good decision making ?

He's hardly going to come out and say he's crap though, is he?

I hope he keeps improving and would love him to start scoring, but I just don't see it. We'll just have to wait and see. One thing's for sure though, we need a another striker in the summer.

No. But he didn’t have to say anything either.
