Where did I say he would get a step up/step down? That's a subjective judgement.

I think you should just focus on the fact he's not playing abroad, and not playing in the championship like you stated. He has found a premier league club, which was always going to be the case, even as a crock, way off his best he's still a PL player.

You're saying it's not a step down, so is it a step up or not?
 
I like the fella, but lower league is about right for him, he's poor at 1 on 1 situations, his goal return is below average, but playing in those Everton teams most forwards would struggle, having to chase your own flick ons because the nearest player is 40 yards away, or if you do manage to hold the ball up you had Dacoure lolloping up like a mentally challenged Labrador, only for him to trip over his own feet, good luck to him I say
