Does it not annoy anyone?

It's even worse here in Norway. Basically, the Premier League consists of the 6 teams that are mentioned in the first post over here. The @ss licking of especially Man Utd and Liverpool is absolutely disgusting at times. We are almost ignored unless "Chelsea target Fellaini scores again".

Normal headlines:

Everton 2-0 Man City: "Man City beaten"
Man Utd 3-3 Everton: "Man Utd throws away 2 points"
Everton 2-2 Liverpool: "Liverpool robbed"
Everton 2-1 Tottenham: "Tottenham loses 3 points in injury time"
Everton 1-0 Man Utd: "United with a bad start to the season"

Everything is "told" from the top 6 clubs point of views.

On top of this it's always 'SPURS visit everton today' or 'ARSENAL entertain everton at the emirates' Never 'EVERTON hope to continue their unbeaten home record against Manchester City'

Chels, Arse, Shiite, Mancs 1,2 I can understand the media love in but the way Spurs are portrayed as being on the same level as these annoys me. We on the other hand are rightly dismissed as also rans. A sad fact as how the club and its finances have been run.

I don't want to rehearse this argument again.....it has been done to death, Chris.

But this "punching above our weight" argument is bogus.

We finished above fourteen clubs last season.

And every last one of those clubs except two (LFC and Villa) have played in the Championship in this century.

Ergo at some stage they have been trying to consolodate their position in the PL and have been playing catch up with us.

There is no good reason why we shouldn't be finishing above Stoke, Fulham, Norwich, Baggies, West Ham etc. on a regular basis.

That is not "punching above our weight".

We have been no better than we ought to be this past ten years or so.

And the logical fallacy has been pointed out to you numerous times too.

If every other club below us has played in the Championship then it follows we have overachieved by not being relegated in that time frame.
