not sure about the other 2 but I was at the game Bjarni made his Everton first team debut (i think!!) - not too many other blues were there.

Bjarni was in the reserves for a couple of seasons. He even turned half decent on one of the Champ/Football Manager games if you played your cards right.

Don't remember the others, but what ever happened with that Asian lad we were trying to sign for ages quite recently? Do all clubs have these weird deals bubbling under the surface all the time or are we unusual?

I think Jurgen Colin ended up at Nowich. He was a Dutch centre half. I remember the echo linking us with Diego Milito of the Zaragoza variety before he turned immense and Darren Fletcher on the same page haha.

Theres's been a few kids who we had first bid deals with. An azerbaijani and an australian where we tried to buy them, couldn't get a permit and instead negotiated a deal where we'd have first refusal once they became avaialbale.

Danny Szetela and Freddy Adu are the biggest wastes of talent around.

They were brilliant at U16-U18 level but made wrong choice after wrong choice in their careers.

Szetela now retired from football and getting in fights in bars.
Adu now with his 9th club in his 6th country in the last 6 years.

If you mean Daniel De Silva as the Australian - he has ended up at the greatest team outside Europe.
