Can say only two players broke me when they decided to leave EvertonFC......
Gary Lineker, who I thought would be our Ian Rush for years to come......fantastic goal scorer, scored for fun, goals against the other lot from across the park as well. What a player.

Rooney, a boy playing like a man and leading a team from the front. A hero in a time when Everton were really, really poor. Hope and dreams from this lad, winning goals, great displays to get his fellow players to follow. He was a kid, one of us, but a superstar and someone we could be proud of.

Does the deed with a granny and then all hell broke loose. Media and Moyes to blame....Agents involved....get away from Merseyside and Colleen and the family will forget all about the late night scoring.

Kenwright crying, but banking the money in between each wipe of the eye.

Our best player gone, under a cloud, not knowing if he had an std and us Evertonians in anger that he chose Man Utd.

If that wasn't bad enough, no true Scouser likes Man Utd, unless we wind up the Kopites, he then did the dirty deed in front of us all.

He scored against us, at home, then ran off in celebration. That brought my fists to clench, but to then kiss the Manc badge really rubbed my nose in it. I felt sick. A set of fans who hate scousers and chant to put us in a fire....then goading us with glee. They hate scousers and chant it at will. He's Scouse, says a lot about the transfer I suppose.

Fair play to the lad for leaving to better himself. But to leave under a dark cloud and to kiss that badge with passion, after scoring a goal against us - at Goodison totally blew my lid.I can honestly say I hated him.

I can also honestly say I loved him in an Everton shirt at Duncs Testimonial.

He's like my wife after an argument, hate and forgiveness in equal measures.

Good luck to the lad, but it is Everton who I love - and the wife knows it

Its exactly what youre talking about mate. People hating Rooney because he left us. Dont think the club didnt have an integral part in him leaving and it was all down to his new agent.

No, someone was talking about Rooney stating he drove his wife to Liverpool so she could give birth to the kids there rather than Manchester, and I was saying don't believe everything Rooney says to the cameras

Interesting speaking to fellow Everton fans about how they feel towards Rooney 12 years on from his, some I know hate him, some don't mind him, some want him back.

He was hated for years after his move, kissed the united badge ect ect. But with time I've noticed receptions to him have become less hostile.

Be interesting to see what people think now? especially ahead of tonight's game.

Never did hate him. His reception at his first game back throughout the match was disgusting. All this 'best fans in the world' crap went out of the window for me that night. If there was no security on he would have been lynched. Badge kissing was retaliation and anybody who thinks otherwise is deluded. Genius player.

Coming from the backwater country known as Poland, where everyone can't wait to move to England.

are you hurt by reminding you the results of your national football team that you reffer to such things ? i could say that no one want to move to England anymore because it became a khalifate but why to mix football and politics ? i thought extreme left wingers are against

Elong - and what do you know about the beautiful country of Poland apart from Wiki? I think PBA said it correctly in English.

If you are gonna piss on his chips, at least say it in Polish so he can understand. Or at least have reason for your childish quote.

I look forward to a rant about bollocks and your failure to educate us.
