Do you believe in the evil eye?

People are confusing the evil eye with 'daggers' or a 'muder stare' both of which happen only around concert square.
No one says 'the evil eye' unless they exist in the 14th century and are one of Satan's little minions.
It's called "mal de ojo" in Spain. Probably a lot more prevalent there.

All jokes aside, whilst I am not a believe in the occult myself, I do find the subject interesting, especially how many very powerful and influential people in the 20th century were believers.

There were many amongst the 3rd Reich who were occultists. Himmler famously and even Werner von Braun, one of the pioneers of the V2 rocket and later sequestered by the US to work for NASA. He was a pen pal of Alan Parsons (The inventor of solid state rocket fuel) prior to the war. Both were fans of the guy above (Allister Crowley) and Parsons went on to head the LA chapter of Crowleys 'Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn' of which L. Ron Hubbard was also a member.

He claimed to have managed to summon an actual demon along with Crowley in a ritual in the LA chapters residence.

In many European countries such as Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece etc, the whole belief of the "evil eye" seems to be very common and popular, especially with the older generations.

Do you believe in the evil eye or have come across anybody that believes in it?
I have an ? pendant at home from Greece. Hoping to ward off obese wools who chat wham on here, naming no names.
