I like Distin. A lot. But he is 35.

Is he expendable ?

Na Moyes will not let him go he is are main defender and hes a great fella so we really need him to stay.

We shouldn't be relying on him now because he will be gone after next season anyway you would think. He's bloody old and we desperately need a replacement. If he was to got to sland mignolet would need to be part of the deal for me to be interested and then we still need 2 cbs because you think johhny is going as well.

I don't think that whole newspaper had ever got anything right mate.

But would you get rid of Distin?

I'd take 2 or 3m you know. Forren looks to be good on the ball and have a bit of pace about him. He won player of the year in his league which, I know isn't saying much but as you say Distin is definitely getting on... It'd be good to get a young CB in.

Also, when Distin is on the ball he makes my bum twitch.

Not for a 'low fee' no. It's just not worth it. He's not a peripheral player he's key.

To be fair for most of us don't really see much of our signings before they come. Fellaini,Mirralas, Coleman for example. I trust Moyes with this one. He tends to get more right than wrong.

Give me Distin over Heitinga anyday. Jonny just pretends to be a hard man but THAT tackle summed him up for me.

Also, this Forren lad? I'd rather we go for someone like Hangeland.
