Can work at home lots which is great, largely based in Belfast(50 miles away) otherwise.

Good train links though so can’t complain, about an hour of GOT time.

It's just less than two miles to where I'm based so takes about five minutes in the car or about a twenty-five minute brisk walk. If I run, then it's no time at all.

However, I can often be all over the place with work so can take up to forty-minutes or more if going across the city.

Approx 2 miles. 30 min walk, 10 min cycle or 15 mins (plus waiting around) by bus. Nowt if I work from home.

6 mile bike ride for me, dropping the kids off at school en route in the morning. Takes 25min or thereabouts.

Always ridden to work as it goes but wouldn't mind a decent train ride - sit down with a book. Rail passes seem expensive though whenever I hear them mentioned.

My old Job before i had to leave to be a full time carer,was 3mins away,1-2 miles and by car [have walked/Gone on a mountain bike],I live in sedgemoor road and went down Long lane to my old job at Jacobs Aintree,for those of yous that know the area

10 minute brisk walk or the much preferred 15 minute stroll. A 4 minute drive if I'm rushing out late.

I worked in Croydon for two years, driving from Maidenhead, exactly 50 miles each way. Half the journey was round the M25, so on a good day the journey was an hour and fifteen minutes, on a bad day, about two and a half hours. I once did some consultancy work for a firm in Bristol. Drove every day for three months - 100 miles each way.

10 minute walk. Used to be a 35 minute door-to-door trip with a train in the middle but moved closer to the office. Haven't regretted it one bit. Especially at this time of year.

13 miles each way. Takes about an hour by car though because of traffic but only 25 mins in a good run or 20 if I take the motorbike.

If you mean Croydon, I agree!lol Terrible, soulless place. The firm I was working for said I would have six months at Croydon then move up to the City. The move kept being put back, ended up 2 years.

Yep, I have had work dealings in and around Croydon for 20+ years. There are worse places to go but I haven’t found them...!

If at main centre(Warrington) it’s 7 miles up the road normally takes 30 minutes at most due to traffic. If get sent to Wirral or Sefton centres can take between 40-50 minutes.
