I think one of the sauced up posters on here said we seriously looked at it but the lad couldn't get a work permit.

Joined Wolfsburg on loan instead I think.

Didnt have the best of times in France but seems to do the business in Belgium. Good striker, big, strong, can link play and score all types of goals. IMO he would be good competition for Jelavic but would be out of our price range unfortunately.

If we can get some sort of cash for Anichebe I would like to see us go in for Jelle Vossen instead of Mbokani - looks an all round better player to me and is somebody Moyes was looking at around the same time as Jelavic so there must be some interest there
