That's strength in depth lads. I was sick of hearing lazy pundits chirp 'oh Everton have a good XI but if they get injuries then who have they got?' -- well we've got actual options. Made up Martinez has addressed our massive squad depth problem in just 1 window, whilst simultaneously improving our starting XI with a huge negative net spend.

I'm more than happy with this window. Sad to see Felli leave but to get 27.5 mil is brilliant! If wed've managed to get Fernando in I think we'd have been looking at being able to push for 5th/6th if everything clicks. As it stands we now have a good squad and the first XI has got a better striker, although midfield is probably now a bit weaker (on paper at least) - but McCarthy is a top prospect. £13 mil is probably a bit much, but I imagine it'll be spread over 18 months, and probably payed at least half up-front.

We should have around £15 mil to spend in Jan, so Martinez needs to be allowed to use that in order to strengthen the areas we are struggling in at Christmas. A quality winger/attacking mid as Pienaar's long term replacement wouldn't go a-miss!

Well we should have 14 million to spend in January if we used vics money for loan fee on lukaku . We need to buy an creative player so maybe 10 million on someone . The rest should be saved and put with the tv money that we actually get next season to buy lukaku outright .
