Badly need this one over the line, or someone of the same ilk. Sure, question marks about his quality defensively, but worth a punt because we have no PL capable right back on the books since Coleman's legs went about 18-24 months ago.

Whilst I'm not exactly over the moon at Townsend, Gray, McNeil etc. I am happy to see we're addressing the one glaring weakness we had - pace - even if the quality of said recruitment is debatable.

I agree with the Townsend and gray, however I think McNeil is decent and I've seen we've been linked with bailey.

McNeil is OK, good crosser, intelligent in possession.

I just don't think he's £30m approx good enough. I wouldn't moan at under £20m.
